In 2013 SK Jachtbouw finished building a classically, \u201csharp\u201d round-bilge Cutter (Kotter) Yacht that is no less than nearly 15 metres long. Its beautiful lining as well as its flared bow give the motor yacht a classic appearance…<\/p>\n

We should add here that Alcantara upholstery was used for the sake of variety. <\/p>\n

Delfzijl are the home waters of this ship that bears the name Vectura and has been given the production number SK 366. Commissioned by the Schram family, who have been in the sailing business for years, SK Jachtbouw built this round-bilge cutter (kotter) yacht which has an open hull. Its measurements are 14.95 x 4.40 x 1.35 metres and the air draught is 2.45 metres high.<\/p>\n

When building this ship the staff of SK Jachtbouw were inspired by an existing ship that was 14.15 metres long, was built in the 1970s and which the Schram family used for sailing. Because so much praise was given for the beautiful lining of this ship, it was decided to have a new ship designed according to the same classic lines. However, the modern comforts of today\u2019s new ships had to be included. The ship was custom built and had teak wood accompanied with solid frames.<\/p>\n

The bow includes a spacious owner\u2019s cabin, a toilet and a separate bathroom with shower, a kitchen and a dinner table as well as a guests cabin with two single beds. The big steering wheel salon with large U-shaped couch and big storage room underneath the floor add to the completion of this ship.<\/p>\n

The low foredeck and wide gangways around the ship enable the crew to easily moor as well as step onto or off the boat even when the landing is situated low.
